The Laramie Project
2026
The Rose Theatre
Overview
The Laramie Project is a powerful and deeply human exploration of community, identity, and the impact of hate. Built from real interviews conducted in the aftermath of Matthew Shepard’s murder in 1998, the play weaves together diverse voices to examine grief, empathy, and the complexities of social change.
Through documentary-style storytelling, it challenges audiences to reflect on compassion, prejudice, and the importance of listening to one another.
